To be a man of faith in a time of doubt
is a strange privilege. When so many refuse
the banquet of grace and elect to live without,
it seems almost weakness to embrace good news,
to be a man of faith in a time of doubt.
Yet I cherish this queer endowment,
taking care how my life is spent.
From the words of the master I discover my bent
and in his company I stand content
to be man of faith in a time of doubt.
